On the Lighter Side

In light of all that has happened with the "Ike" incident, I thought that I would go with something on the lighter side for now. Tonight I was putting together my Laptop to work on some school work that I am behind on. It is easier to type on the keyboard then it is on the Laptop's keyboard, but I couldn't find it so I asked Chaundra where the keyboard was. She said that it was in the closet and I proceeded in going to get it. I am not always the best at putting things away, whereas she is. I went in and grabbed it from the closet and came back in. I told her, "if I forget to put it up in the future to put it in my 'Commit for Life' bag." I got it from donating blood and that is what is written on the front. This confused her a little, so I continued to explain. "You know my 'commit for life' bag. Ah! You know my school bag." That is when she started to laugh. It took me a second to realize that I just called my School bag a "commit for life" bag. I didn't mean it, but that is what it seems like at times. At least someday I will graduate, I hope.
